Nate's push button world.
Little Nate told Gramma Pat; "I push a button and

you feed me. I push another button and you fix

a bath for me. I push another button and you

fix my tooth brush for me. Gramma pat said.

"Push one more button and you are going straight to bed!"

Nate lives in a push button world, Gramma is a video game.

Hmmm.

1. Makes me think of another poem.
This one is from Walt Kelly, the creator of Pogo, who also gave the world everyone's favorite political quote, "We have met the enemy and he is us."

Hail to the hippity push-button world
The jollyest roger we've ever unfurled
With buttons to summon whatever we need
With buttons for giving and buttons for greed.
With buttons for mackerel and buttons for cod
And buttons for loving and buttons for God.
Maybe buttons for thinking and dying will send
A finger for pushing the button for "end."
