Faulty President Bush Action Figure Faces National Recall

Washington, DC - A 12 inch President Bush Action Figure, manufactured by Blue Box Toys as a commemorative of the May 1st landing on the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier by President Bush is facing a national recall.

When first contacted by Fox News, representatives for President Bush denied rumors of any type of Presidential recall.

Later, White House press secretary Scott McClellan, during a brief news conference said, "Rumors of a Presidential recall are totally false and are more than likely just an underhanded ploy by Democrats to deflect attention away from the recall of California Governor Gray Davis".

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission stands firmly behind its decision to recall the Bush action figure, citing, "The product poses a real choking hazard to children under the age of four".
