I don't have any skin left to speak of. I used to have a little sixth finger...hardly more than an extra nail, really.

edited for the usual typo

5. 3 questions for you Anne
1) Did you really have a large mole on your neck?

2) Did you have Elizabeth using the Lamaze Method?

3) When the permitted you to speak (to a small private coterie) before they chopped your head off why were you so polite?

7. Well...
1) Did you really have a large mole on your neck?
Not so very large.

2) Did you have Elizabeth using the Lamaze Method?

No...in those days we took to our beds weeks ahead of the estimated time and just waited. We certainly believed in "natural childbirth",though

3) When the permitted you to speak (to a small private coterie) before they chopped your head off why were you so polite?

Execution etiquette required it,although you will recall that I said "If anyone would meddle with my cause,I require him to judge the best" Think about that, and I'm sure you'll see I was making a statement

Like the gracious saucy Lady I thought you were. Another question: Does it take much effort to be gracious and saucy at the same time?

16. Very sad place...
too many died there..mostly innocent, but not all.(Did I mention my cousin,Catherine?)Strangely, when in my present-day incarnation I visited the Tower,a raven chased me near the site of the former scaffold.

31. She was very young
b1521? d 1542. Her story was a tragedy because of her youth and the hideous vengence of Henry. He discovered that she had been guilty of "immoral conduct" before the marriage, but was inclined to clemency until he found out that she had also been doing the same things after the marriage. Her "guilt" was admitted, and although I certainly think it's absurd,it was treason for the wife of the king to commit adultery. I believe this law remains on the books today over there, but certainly would not be implemented. Anne,on the other hand, was almost certainly innocent of all charges against her. Among Catherine Howard's last words on the scaffold,"I die a queen, but I would rather die the wife of Culpeper(her lover)"

Wasn't that one of the rumors spread about you? And did you miscarry a "monstrous" fetus?

40. No
My brother,George Boleyn, and four other gentleman of the court(one a musician)were accused of adultery with me. I don't know why they had to drag my dear brother into it(can we say OVERKILL?),although his very disturbed wife was certainly involved in some of these "rumours"

17. How can you be reincarnated
if your ghost still walks the tower?

And as a ghost, do you manifest as a headless body, or as a floating (talking) head?

Is the notion that consciousness is seated in the brain something we scientific types assume, and did the culture of the 16th century believe that the soul was really more at home in the heart or liver? And how would this concept affect the dead Ann's self-image?

Or is this why you can be in two places at once: the archaic body-image in the tower, and the newfangled brain-image incarnate on the Democratic Underground?

18. There are more things in heaven and earth..
than are dreamt of in your philosophies:) How's that for a non-answer?
If there can in fact be a continuation of consciousness after death, how can we know its limitations when we can't yet prove it's reality? Once one accepts the possibilty of any part of the conscious self going on,perhaps we might also consider that normal limits of the material world do not apply.
Just maybe:)

22. That's a good answer
Especially since you riposted with another serving of Shakespeare :-)

I played in a band that performed the English music hall number "With her Head Tucked Underneath her Arm." Although I know Boleyn's fate was tragic, exposure to that song lends her story a certain amount of drollery. Perhaps apologies are in order?

29. Okay...
Is it true that a decapitated head can still see and think for about twenty seconds after being decapitated? (Morbid question that has caused me dark speculation ever since I first read about it when I was eight or so...)

And what do you have to say to future generations of people with extra breasts?

37. A bonus nipple
would be a sure and certain sign(for the incubus/succubus the suck from). In Anne's case(there being no such nipple)the rudimentary nail was used by some to point to as evidence that she was a witch.
