What's Your Bedtime?
When do you usually doze off into dreamland?

During the week it's about midnight for me...and I get up around 7 a.m.

On Friday and Saturday, it's 12:30 a.m. baby, whooo hooo PAAAARTY!!

then I still get up at 7 a.m. - damn internal alarm clock.

:)

9. 11:30ish
I try to stay awake for Leno's monologue, but rarely make it. 5:05 comes early and then I'm in the shower, on the Harley and in the office by 6:30.

10. It depends.
Sometimes 4:AM and at other times, 2:AM. Depending on what city I'm in, the hours between two to four can be very peaceful.

Edited on Tue Aug-19-03 01:00 AM by BigMcLargehuge
every three months or so I break the sleep cycle and crash for 12-15 hours.

A catnap (20-25 minutes) in the afternoon each day in my office chair.

I don't drift off to sleep. I collapse into sleep. As soon as I go horizontal it's lights out McLargehuge.

There's a reason...

See, when I was 27 I had a mild heart attack caused by a bacterial infection. I spent a full 8 days in the cardiac intensive care unit (trust me... noooooooo fun at all) hooked up to so many machines I started to think I was Borg.

Now, subconsciously, I think that when I fall asleep I won't wake up, so my mind and body absolutely refuse to sleep. This usually happens if I go to bed tired but still relatively cognizant of the world around me. If I work myself to mental and physical exhaustion I pass that psychological break point and drop before the fear of permanant slumber sets in. I don't recommend the schedule to anyone, but it seems to help me.

If I didn't have to, I wouldn't ever sleep.

12. Usually around 3:00 am
I've had a little free time lately, so it's been a little later than usual. I try to set a 1:00 bedtime when I have work and school.
