in organized team play strategy rules the day. I have been in some incredible matches, some of which have been shoutcasted.

2. tried the demo once

and i didn't get it, too much going on. i might pick it up once the "deluxe editons" comes out. (meaning the game plus the addons in one package)

8. It's a game made for organized team play

when you just play it, it's too crazy. But when you have a team on a voice program (think free conference call if you don't know) and everyone is filling a role it is amazing.

I just reinstalled it today (with Road to Rome). I used to kick ass, I held up all right today (not used to 1.4), but in a couple of weeks I should be back to almost top notch.

BTW - try hitting anyone from a distance with the DP. Huge clip but bottle rocket is more accurate.

17. Desert War Mod

have you you tried that Desert War mod? If so, how is it?

18. It's called Desert Combat

and it makes the sides US vs Iraq but somehow the weapons are evenly matched. If you can get passed the obsurdity of it all it's not bad.

SOme like it mor ethen others but I do know that it generated enough interest to start a ladder at www.teamwarfare.com, so there must be at least 10-20 teams playing it.

I love BF1942 and I am pretty decent at it-

I haven't been able to play online because dial-ups are a nightmare.
I will be getting cable installed thursday morning and when I do I would be happy to try out for your clan.

we are very high level and if you haven had much online gaming experience you will need to play catch up. However we would welcome you on our server and most likely on TS from time to time. I play with a great group of guys.

27. TS = Team Speak

It's a voice program so team member can talk to eachother like a conference call. It's a online program, the servers that run them are cheap and there is no long distance. The clan rents one for like 12 bucks a months or something.

and started playing BF42. It's more 'fun' and less real.
