2. Our 86 Toyota wagon got 4 new tires the other day..
Edited on Tue Aug-19-03 12:22 AM by SoCalDem
It has almost 200,000 miles, has peeling paint and some rust, but every time I go anywhere in it, someone wants to buy it from me :)

It always starts.. I paid $500.00 for it years ago and 4 people in our family have driven it at various times.. It's very reliable :)

15. They're only Japanese if the VIN begins with "J"
Mine begins with a "1," which is the code for "Made in the USA."

My Honda Accord was built in Marysville, OH as are all the Accords sold here have been for years.

5. My family owns four Hondas. . .
the oldest an '89 Civic with over 165,000 miles -- still going strong and will undoubtedly last another three or more years with little maintenance required.

13. Drive a '94 Honda Civic
Around 180,000 miles now. No AC. Luckily, we have a 2nd car in the family, so sometimes I get a respite from the heat. And I sure need that here with the South Florida summers.

16. I also have a 12 yr old Honda
It's a Civic LX with 160 thousand on it, and it runs well. The AC has a leak, but nobody has been able to find the lead. The paint is faded, the headliner is starting to droop, and the radios sucks, but it runs well. The clutch has made a horrible noise for maybe 60 thousand miles, but no crisis yet.
