An hour ago, I was furious with DU. I was about to post about how I was so angry with everything in my life, and now DU was making me angry also, and how I was gonna leave for a while to only come back to more flame threads, like what happened to Will Pitt. But, I realized...if I did that, it would only make people here more angry, and it would continue the cycle of hate.

So, now, I decided i'm gonna post a love thread. I love DU, and I love you guys! :loveya: Let's forget our petty differences, and just be happy we're here, in the presence of such good people

I, for one, have never seen the point in flaming anyone or anything that didn't truly deserve it.

The only post I've ever had deleted (back when I was fairly new to DU at that) was one right around the time Dr. Atkins died. I called him a freak among other things in my post, but only because I emphatically believe that his whole program is a sham and runs totally counter to what is required by the human body to sustain optimal health.

Were I able to take a mulligan on that one I would have been much less insulting (after all, he was dead at that point and we all know that's NOT nice) and probably wouldn't have had a post deleted.

But other than that I see no point in being rude or nasty to anyone here, even if they don't agree with me. It's much better when we just state our opinions without trying to offend people. Even if we have strong feelings about something we can express them without rocking the boat. And if not, then it's probably better left alone.
