New Jersey Senator Ready to Bid for NBA's Nets
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=577&ncid=577&e=1&u=/nm/20030819/sp_nm/nba_nets_dc

NEW YORK (Reuters) - A wealthy U.S. senator and a major real estate developer are preparing to make a joint bid for the New Jersey Nets (news) basketball team to prevent it from moving to New York, two newspapers reported Tuesday.

The New York Times and the Star-Ledger of Newark quoted unidentified sources familiar with the negotiations as saying Sen. Jon Corzine of New Jersey and developer Charles Kushner have been talking to some Nets owners and reviewing team financial records

Man, I used to think Jon Corzine was one of the best democratic senators out there, but if he co-owns the NEts I do have issues with this - NETS SUCK!!!!

3. Pacers-NBA Champs in 2003
Pacers are my only favorite team which doesn't play in the Phoenix area.

5. I hope this isn't a trend! I don't want Sanatarium owning my 76ers
And the nets still suck... reading my subject line should help make Nets fans comprehend that one

6. I like the 6ers, that would be a fucking nightmare
I hope Richard Luger doesn't buy the Pacers, I hope John Kyl doesn't buy the Cardinals(They would be worse then they already are). Maybe I should run for Senate and buy the Cards.

7. Well the cardinals do need help
I don't think Jesus could come back to earth, buy the Cardinals and help resurrect their sorry team

(wow, I made a funny).

Of course we can go to that thread where Jesus christ is answering questions - maybe he would!
