my current debate:

shoey88: in order to make the middle-east more peaceful and stable, they need to have better government, that means we must get rid of some of the governmemts now in place, it isn't logical to start from the hardest and work our way down, it makes sense to start at the easiest and work our way up, Iraq was the weakest, Syria is the next weakest

Well, if your blood pressure can handle it, and you don't mind practicing writing things that may as well have never been read because your target audience is ignoring you, and you are enjoying yourself, then have at it.

BTW, I like the Hiroshi image. I like the new Star Trek. Most Star Trek fans I know stopped watching because of Voyager. I'm not a fan, but it's nice to have Star Trek on, and every now and then I look up from whatever I'm doing, and something sci-fi is happening. All is at peace in the world for that moment.

6. Ganging up

Well, not to knock you or anything, but people who inhabit chat rooms tend to be more immature, either because of age and naievete, or because they are emotionally or socially retarded (note, this is opinion from observation and not wholly all encompassing). I used to do the chat room circuit when I was younger, that is until I was usually the oldest person when an A/S/L check was called. And frequently I was ganged up upon. This is mostly because chat rooms allow for the more quick yet thoughtless reactions to be expressed, and the slower and more carefully thought out statements are lost in the morass of fluff.

And they are in just about every state. I've especially had a problem where my D&D group that I had been gaming with for several years ganged up on my over the Clinton Impeachment hypocrisy. The same people who I considered freinds for so long, treated me as stupid and lower than dirt just because I disagreed with them about politics!

Sorry, I just have a few battle scars that still ache with pain.
