to find out if someone has been offered a job as a pay back?

In my county, a county commissioner fought hard to convince the citizens to vote for a pipeline to be built stating it would bring jobs to our county, whose unemployment rate is over 8%.

The truth has come out that there will be no jobs for the locals. The pipeline company has contracts for non-union out-of state workers.

Now the word is that the commissioner has been offered a job w/the company as a consultant. It has not been confirmed, though.

This is not the 1st time she has, IMHO, abused her position at the cost of the county. The sad fact is, very few people are aware or care to be aware of what is going on.

1. Write up the "story" and send it to the newspaper

or start attending the open meetings...and just ask to speak.. Bring it out into the open..:)

We (an activist group for representative government) are putting on another public forum in September. She has confirmed to me that she will be attending.

I have a feeling that I will be elected to be the one to do the asking.
