If I get reallllly brave, I AM gonna play that $100 slot this year.. Last year when I was "tipsy" and bold, I played the 5, 10, 25, & 50 slots..

Turned $20 into almost $800.00 in the high roller slot room.. My "Laughlin boyfriend" took my money away from me and would not let me play the 100 slot..:(

This year I am gonna be a "pretend republican" and tell him .."It's MY money "

My husband told me to GO FOR IT :).. Wish me luck :)

Haven't been to Laughlin in years, they were just starting to build it up a lot when I last saw it...(1992) Have fun and good luck to you!!! There were like only 2 or 3 casinos then!

2. I went to Laughlin over July 4th and had a BLAST

It's great for gambling (so much mellower than Vegas) and the hotel we stayed at had shops, a movie theatre, even a bowling alley. I think it was called the Riverside(?) It was right on the river. There are still hotels where you can get the great all you can eat for $10. The only word of warning is don't plan on spendinga any time outside. It's literally so hot, my eyes started burning. I couldn't even deal with being by the pool. So, just plan on hangin' in and you'll have a great time!
