I think it was mandated by international law.

5. Oh! You mean their cover of "Drift Away?"
I always thought that was just a weirdly tuned guitar. You never can tell on those DIY tapes.

2. And very rightly so!
This is a completely impartial opinion of mine, of course.

6. I did record an album in the 80's.........
And yes, we hired a guy to come in and play sax on one song.

So....I guess you're right.

7. List your favorite rock sax solos
Year of the Cat - Al Stewart
Baker Street -
which Clarence Clemons solos do you like?

I need a list cuz my son is taking sax in 4th grade next year and I want to educate him, but all I have is Parker, Coltrane, Getz, Adderly, Lester Young, etc. and the kid is not tuned to jazz yet.

14. I had an acquaintance in college
who played sax and she would point out when the sax played on *every* song she heard, "Hear that? That's a saxophone". I'd get pretty annoyed with that - I performed in Band in grade school, junior high, high school and college, and I think after 10+ years, I knew what a sax sounded like.

I grew to hate her.
