Pro-Outsourcing VP at my company was Canned!
hahahah can't stop laughing... this guy's mission was to have all of our jobs moved overseas and Voila...he got his walking papers this week...

Everyone is laughing their ass off about it...

I've seen enough assholes fired who don't go away.

Here's a nightmare for you:

he got a great severance package

he's starting a contracting business and your company will be his biggest customer, allowing your company to trim headcount dramatically.

9. part of it is poor politics and part of it is the outsourcing
apparently the programmers they hired in India aren't working out and communication issues between them and the US are atrocious... so that led to a number of problems... and who was the big advocate of this program...none other than the VP..
Plus a lot of programmers (former and current) are in high positions in our company and they didn't take to kindly to this stuff.
