1. i think you can just go to add/remove programs
if it's not in "Programs", then try "Add/Remove Windows Components".

There's definitely a way to do it, since I somehow removed it from my school computer.

3. "Add/Remove Windows Components" worked for me
They don't make it straightforward to kill it. Almost as hard as getting rid of that damn paper clip assistant in Office...
