If you read the article below, he used this type of controversy before (a wooden version of the 10 Commandments) to propel him to election for the Chief Justice position. With Pryor the Attorney General being nominated for a federal judgeship by Herr Bush, do you think this may be a ploy to have attention focused on him to replace Pryor?? Or do you just think he is a dangerous zealot??
http://www.cnn.com/2003/LAW/08/21/ten.commandments/index.htmlIn any event, wouldn't the conscious decision to defy a court order be a valid basis for disbarment? The State Bar should address that immediately!
Guys like Moore are very dangerous. He is perfectly willing to allow the state to be fined $5,000 a day (taxpayer money) just so he can strike a heroic pose for the masses. Religious zealots in general are the most dangerous people around be they christians (abortion clinics) or muslims (need I say more).
What do you all think of Moore's stand?
