ATI Sucks
I just upgraded my motherboard and had to buy a new video card since my old AGP would not work. I bought an ATI Radeon 9000 just so that it would work with my ATI TV tuner card. I figured ATI would work with ATI, right? Wrong! I have tried every suggestion on the ATI site and nothing works. PC's can sure be frustrating at times. I miss watching/listening to TV while I am on the PC.

Besides that, I am not really impressed with the video card. I liked my old Voodoo Banshee just fine.

:-(

1. What are the symptoms?
I've found Nvidia's cards to be more reliable.

ATi also has a history of creating porrly written drivers; for the longest time (which may still be the case), the Radeon drivers were merely modified Rage 128 drivers. :eyes:

Tell me more about the symptoms, how aren't they working together?

3. This ATI site discusses the error
Check this site. I am getting this error. I am running an ASUS A7V333-X Mainboard, ATI Radeon 9000 video, ATI TV PCI tuner card, and windows 98SE. I can usually work my way through problems but this one has me stumped. I am not running a secondary monitor.

Thanks for any help.

2. I had similar...
...problems with an ATI All-in-Wonder card when I was on winME.

I never could get the thing to function properly, even after doing everything I could find on their website and even CALLING(something I never do).

I still have it. I was hoping I would be able to put it in an old 98SE machine.

4. ATI
They seem to be driver deficient and always behind on software.
