An avalanche of sad stories and poor grammar

My dear, dear friend was over and convinced me we should check into Yahoo personals. :eyes: I thought hey, fun.

Nope.

My empathy meter is in overdrive. It was this endless flood of seemingly desparate women, most with children, with hardly a pot to pee in they could call their own.

The net result here: I'm less inspired to seek a date, and more inspired to do something about a society that lets these people slip through the cracks. Education, rights, what-have-you. It actually made me angry!

1. Many of those you encountered

will eventually turn to prostitution to pay the bills.
Many will settle for abusive & drug addicted partners.
Most will raise children without hope or direction, thus perpetuating the cycle.

I truly wish we could arm the poor and point them in the right direction. This whole income disparity thing is going to be ugly when it "re-adjusts" itself.

We have to spend untold billions to go blow up brown people who have OUR oil!! :eyes:
