I NEED SYMPATHY! I had my icky two molars pulled today!
The baby molars (does the tooth fairy show up?) that never had permanent teeth under them... have finally succumbed to pressure and age.

Thankfully, 2 vicodin negated the pain so far.... and now I have two big spaces that apparently are going to cost me at least $3000 to fill up permanently.

*sniff*

4. well they came out VERY easily, I have to say. I have good looking teeth,
but these two have been a burden for my whole life.

The dentist did a good job and we made light of it. He's very sweet. When he opened the waiting room door, I smiled and glared and said "I HATE YOU!" and he laughed....

I really didn't suffer at all, it was just discomfort.

NOW it hurts though.

5. GOOD NEWS! the knee feels GREAT, lol!
The dog seems to be feeling better... but we did lose a koi to the pond pump... visualize fish lips in narrow tube.

It's been a helluva week here at the radwriter ranch.

13. Excellent!
I'll think positively about your refi if you'll think happy thoughts about my closing on Friday, not Monday. :-)

8. I had 4 impacted . . .
. . . had to be broken out with a minichisel.

Thank god I was completely out.

No fun recovering though, but those Vicodin help!

14. Wow they knocked you out?
I got a local for my three impacted. They gave me Motrin afterwards.
Of course I was only 20 years old when they did this.

The Lt. that performed on my mouth distracted me quite a bit, she was HOT!!!

Good ol' USN.

Hope you feel better Radwriter!! :hi:

15. Completely blotto.
I vaguely remember one point where the dentist was yelling at someone for not having the right tool.

Mine were sideways and twisty - a "real mess" I believe the phrase was.

For months after, I had pieces of tooth erupting through my semi-healed gum. Just yummy.

17. Eh I'm a TOUGH chick. I had a DATE the same night I had my wisdom
teeth pulled... I had soup, but he never noticed.

And when I dislocated my kneecap, after 2 hours of all sorts of drama getting to the hospital, I told the guys to NOT give me any meds prior to shoving it back into place... They were IMPRESSED, and asked me how I wanted it done. (These guys were LINEBACKER sized and perfect for the job) I said one of you hold me in a bear hug from behind (I was sitting up on the gurney) while the other one pull the leg and shove the kneecap back in.

INSTANT relief with one HUGE scream. Then it was all over and done.

They were impressed.
