What Word Are You Continually Misspelling? |
|
Even after the spell checker flags the word each time... you (or your fingers) simply refuse to learn to spell it the correct way? You've obviously got a mental-block or something... so what's the word?
CONFESS!!

I type one when I mean the other - and since they're both valid words, spell check doesn't catch them....

I go bananas when people confuse ITS and IT'S. Also many add "'s" everywhere when they shouldn't. Oh and your you're is in the same category. Screams MORON to me.

I always put that second "e" in there, even though I know that's not how it is spelled. I touchtype very fast, and sometimes don't catch it till I spellcheck, if at all.

Seriously. I type it as "teh" all the time and then go back and fix it. If you see a post from me that was edited a minute or two after it was originally posted...it's probably because I misspelled "the".

12. It used to be Fahrenheit, but lately |

I've learned how to spell it. I think by the 25th everyone in America will know how to spell that word. Well, except for * and Rummy because they don't read the paper.
