It sucks to be a moral relativist.
If you are confident that Jaysus will forgive your sins you can really cut loose and party. We see it again and again with Republicans and preachers.

But if you have only your own conscience to answer to, it really cramps your style. I don't smoke, I don't drink any more, I stay in at night, and I can be trusted in the company of any man not my husband. I'm so good I make myself puke. BIG AL-GORE SIGH. What's a girl to do?

3. I'm with ya sister. You have to be able to live with yourself so how
can you do anything bad. But I thought it was my conscience along with a heavy dose of Catholic guilt programing.

5. If that is part of how you got to be this way, then I guess so.
I notice you said you don't drink anymore. Neither do I. I did enough stupid things when I was younger, decided I didn't need to do any more. I don't know if it is related or not.
