I just killed the biggest cockroach I've ever seen!

OK, this is NYC, where every flat comes with hot and cold running cockroaches, but this was the size of a chihuahua! I was afraid it would fight back!

I don't care what you say, you can not convince me this was God's creature and deserved to live. Roaches are the spawn of Satan--and I don't even believe in Satan. Think I'll go flush the carcass down the toilet, just to make sure he doesn't come back to get me like Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction.

He was still moving when I flung him in the toilet. I'd thought a blunt instrument to the head (my fist, protected by a napkin) would do it, but he was too tough!

Now I feel like I need to take about 10 showers!
