Netscape Navigator 6 audio help needed please.
In Internet Explorer, when I click an mp3 link, RealPlayer launches, which is what I want.

In Netscape Navigator 6, when I click an mp3 link, QuickTime launches, but I want RealPlayer to launch.

How do I get Netscape Navigator to launch RealPlayer when I click an mp3 link?

1. Open the "Preferences"
Under the "Navigator" headline, there should be an option "Helper Applications"; edit the entry for MP3s.

IMHO You should consider switching to Mozilla 1.6 or Firebird: Netscape 6+ is just an old and (re-)branded Mozilla version.

I tried entering mp3 for MIME types, and it still launched QuickTime.

Should I enter something else for MIME types?
