Wrong post at the wrong time... but I can understand the conflict & position the mods are in... in a sense they are looking out for DU on the whole -- Dems have plenty of enemies, and in that respect, I believe that some of the moderating is done to safeguard against ignorant freeper reactionary types...

Also as a business, there are also legal considerations. I don't really get too pissed, because they are simply using their best judgement to keep this thing alive. I'm sure there are certain opinions here that the owners don't want to convey as indicative of the whole organization.

In that sense, I don't blame them... It's their prerogative.
