I like watching cops
Its always interesting to learn from other people's mistakes.

In California, some cop pulls over some car because he thinks it "suspicious," just because it pulled out of the parking lot of a closed business.

Cop asked the guy what he was doing and where he is going. The guy is with his wife and had pulled into the parking lot to get something out for her. Cop looks into the car but doesnt see anything obviously illegal.

Cop has nothing on the guy, Cop asks the guy if he can search the car, guy agrees and tells the cop that he has a loaded .22 rifle in the back seat (it was covered by blankets and pillows). Cop arrests guy for carrying a loaded rifle (which I guess is illegal in Cali but not in Texas).

The lesson for today is never consent to a search of your vehicle, never admit to anything illegal.

1. Have you heard of the "Georgia Warrant"?
quite popular in rural Florida and Georgia...two cops come to a house. One goes up to the front door while one goes around to the back door. The cop at the front door knocks, while the cop at the back door yells "Come in!"

3. Yeah should have not consented to the search
since he had to have known the cop was going to find the rifle. In my state finding illegal contraband can result in the seizure of your vehicle. It would really suck if the guy lost his ride too.

4. they did tow away his ride...
I'm not sure if they seized it or just impounded it, but the cop said they were going to get a tow truck out there to take it away.

He asked the guys wife if she had relatives or something in town (I think the guy had said they were visiting relatives thats why they had blankets and pillows and stuff) that she could walk to. :wtf:

She said "yeah, but its a pretty far walk," I'm thinking this is pretty fucked up, they arrest her husband, take thier car, and expect her to walk to a relatives house. The segment ended a bit after that, I'm hoping the cops were complete assholes and that they atleast gave her a ride to her destination.
