My concert was a rousing success
I played a concert last night with a local amateur group (sorry, can't get more detailed).

First half of the concert, one of the pieces was a salute to Broadway shows including The Phantom of the Opera. I played the theme on a huge pipe organ. It shook the building.

Later I played a variety of synthensizers in a combo (me, piano, drums and bass) accompanying a choir performing excerpts from Les Misérables. I was doing the orchestral parts and some synthesizer effects. For the finale, I switched back to pipe organ.

It was the hit of the evening and got a good three minutes' applause with whistling and shouting.

I'll post some pics later.

2. Never heard of them by I can ask around
I had thought about a cape, but it was an otherwise serious concert and I didn't want to get a laugh.

The audience was scared enough as it is - they know what happens when I get on that thing.

3. Strange thing at the end
I was in the back hallway and one of the stagehand's radios went off and I swore it said "there's a naked man at the back door - please deal with it".

I really wonder about my fans some days.

5. In my next life
I will play a pipe organ and it will set off the seismographs.

In the meantime - glad you could do it and the audience loved it!
