Trust me to copy-cat a copy-cat thread.

For my concert last night, I wanted to clean gaffer tape gunk off my synthesizers and one of the stage crew had something called "Goo off".

Worked like a charm.

My cleaner of choice.
Also great for killing bugs.

2. To clean permanent felt-pen off white-boards

use circuit board cleaner. Acetone would probably work as well.

3. Carbon tetrachloride

Great chemical cleaner, just watch out for the long-term health effects.

If you can make yourself some suprecritical steam, that stuff is supposed to be near-perfect as a cleaner.
