Anybody have the url for a good online Briggs-Meyers test?
Preferably one that goes and explains what the different types are and how they relate, communication-wise?

100% N, 100% P

Here's how I've come to understand INTP's:

people of this type believe that making a decision means that you've given up looking for the right answers ... there is ALWAYS more information ...

we do not like too much organization ... we like to "feel" our way ... getting it right is far more important than getting it done ...

we do not believe problems are solved by eliminating alternatives until one is selected ... we believe problems are solved by identifying as many reasonable alternatives as possible ... problem solving should be about broadening the question, not narrowing the answers ...

we try to fit all the details into the central "gestalt" ...

we teach by asking questions, not by giving answers ...

to quote a line of testimony from one of the Chicago 7's defense attorneys: "facts are nothing without their nuance" ...

we are unimpressed with title or position or authority ... only those willing to plug their ideas into the model and have them tested carry any credibility ...

and, for you INTP's out there, and I speak from experience, your ideal mate is an: ENFJ ...

oh, and one last thing, we are aliens in this culture ... we will never really be understood ... but that's OK ... we gotta do what we gotta do ... it's never about fitting in and we couldn't change our spots anyway ...

19. I don't
I resent having to teach people anything. Call me a knowledge snob, but if you don't know something you should, you'd better learn it.

Of course, exceptions can and are made, but if you're some end-user trying to cheat your way through learning something complicated by asking for the easy answer, you can forget about hearing it from me

:grr:
