It was a terrible movie, a Blake Edwards flick I think.

Anyway, he said boil the lobster in white wine, that way by the time the tempurature got too high the lobster would be tanked and wouldn't care.

7. The "scream" is actually the lobster pushing out air
from it's nasal cavity. I would see if the place that sold it to you steams them for free. That way you don't have to hear it. Two cents from a former fish-monger.

8. you can kill it before hand with a needle into its head or something
then you will be assured the noise is just air escaping (which it is, apparently)
