4. He made an appearance at a club I was at

He had the upstairs all to himself for an afterparty last year. Over the dance floor, you could see a glass window that looked into the second floor, with its bar and other stuff. Prince came to the window like a prophet coming down from the mountain. Pretty dramatic and fun at the same time.

Before all that went down he was in the DJ booth while the DJ spun, sometimes singing over his own tunes. I wish I had scraped up the big bucks to see him play, but this was a good experience too.

BTW, he is, of course, short, but very, very stylish. Very cool dude.
