Jay Leno on the future of Smarty Jones

Now I didn't see this, but it's plastered all over the internet horse racing forums tonight. Pure outrage, but sounds funny as hell to me: 

During his monologue, Leno mentioned that Smarty lost the Belmont, then commented on what a tough sport horse racing is. At that point he was handed a can of Alpo dog food with an altered label...

                       "NOW WITH SMARTY JONES!!"

I just hope Olbermann or some other offbeat program has the guts to interrupt the Ronnie lovefest and replay that clip tomorrow.

1. I saw it, and that is accurate.

I thought it was funny in that "Boy is he gonna be in trouble for that joke" kinda way. Lot's of "Oohhhhhs!" in the audiences laughter over it.

I've noticed that many of his jokes regarding the reasoning behind the Iraq war are falling flat. People in his audience have lost their sense of humor over that.
