She's been through hell, and the ordeal of the GOP circus isn't over.
She's also been rethinking a lot of her positions on issues, especially the knee-jerk protection of the fertilized ovum as an adult human being with a full complement of rights.
My best wishes go with her during this trying time.

2. While I am no fan of Nancy |
|
(really hate her ever since she refused to live in the California governor's mansion because it was a 'fire trap' and then worked toward handing it over as an orphanage when the state decided to build a new one) please allow the woman to grieve on her own without our nasty comments. It is neither becoming nor constructive to pick on someone going through the loss of her life partner.
At a time when we should be engaged in the effort to win friends and influence people, attacking those in grief is not attractive, IMHO. A little decorum costs us nothing and could show our better side to others. We are better than Rush and his ilk.

3. She looks absolutely exhausted. |
|
Hopefully after this week she'll finally be able to get some rest... I'll bet taking care of her hubby took a lot out of her.

4. my friend took care of her mother for five years and after she died, |

she said the void was unbearable.
I watched part of it yesterday and she just looked so lost. it was sad.

6. After you've spent your entire life with someone... |
|
and taken care of them for so long, I can't imagine that the transition would be easy. While I'm not a big fan of the Reagans, my heart goes out to her and the family (as well as to your friend and her family).

8. Frankly, I'd suggest that you delete the title and the pic... |

All politics aside, this is TOTALLY disrespectful of an individual's right to grieve and mourn. I feel very sorry for her.
