2. David McCall
was the guy who came up with the concept of Schoolhouse Rock. He was a NYC adman. But in his spare time he and his wife would go around the world, helping the poor and displaced. They were in Albania, installing satellite phones so the refugees in Kosovo and their relatives who fled could get in contact with one another, when their jeep skidded off a rain soaked mountain road and they plunged to their deaths. They never made a big deal about going out and spending their money on causes like this, or going to hot spots around the world to see what they could do. Too bad there are not more rich folks like David and Penny McCall around.

You can read more about them and their work at my webpage honoring them at

3. I like 'the shot heard round the world, but...'
"We the people
In order to form a more perfect union
Establish justice and ensure domestic tranquility...
Provide for the common defense
Promote the general welfare
And secure the blessings of lib-er-ty
To ourselves and our prosperity
Do ordain and establish this constitution (Right ON!)
For the
Unites States of
A-mer-ica"

4. Had to vote for "I'm just a bill"
I also love "Three is a magic number". I have most of them downloaded on my computer.
