There's so many things in life that are not under my control...but leaving the idiot box OFF isn't one of them!

1. I don't own one - that's probably why I am so calm!
Fear not - reading is more rewarding anyway!

6. I went a few years without any TV
I watch it now. It's my mind sludge. I do a lot of other things in my life, so I don't feel it is wasting my time any longer. I don't know if I could go without the forensic shows either.
I watch reruns of "Who's line is it anyway" every night before I go to bed to read. It makes me laugh...and I dig laughing.

8. I am amazed
at how much better I feel this week! I have not even watched local news and turn off the radio in my truck when RR's name gets mentioned. It is amazing. As a news junkie this seems to have been the very best way to stop the habit. I certainly don't jones for Reagan news!

9. You're Not Alone
I watch very little TV at all, and NO TV news of any kind. It's easier on the psyche.

10. Nope...
I don't watch television. It rots the brain.

And I have to say, hurrah for broadband internet...I've been listening to streaming radio from the UK and Germany, and NO REAGAN. It's great. They mentioned that he'd died, but it's not on every bloody news segment like it is in the States.

12. Watched Deadwood and 4th Quarter of Laker Loss
TV is so full of sanctimonious, historical revisionist presswhores that the only reasons to watch would be to laugh at how stupid the mainstream is or to keep up with the current propaganda.

That takes me about 1 minute of viewing of any news or business channel. The propaganda never changes.

18. Nope. 100% no TV (except NBA Finals and The Daily Show)
I even gave up the Simpsons for the duration so I don't have to risk seeing even a moment of the Reagasm on Faux.

22. Nope
I am on a self imposed media blackout. I've watched old movies and last night I watched the Daily Show (couldn't help myself), but other than that, nothing.

Tomorrow I get major dental work. I'm actually looking forward to it.

I try and watch (or listen) at Crossfire while at work but when I am home, I usually watch the tape delay of Washington Journal.

24. I watched some on Sunday, maybe 2 hours.
My temporary roommate doesn't have TV at his place. I'm a little lost, actually, but at least it wasn't all-Ronnie, all the time.
