A funny Reagan-related story/memory

When Reagan unvieled the statue of the the 3 soldiers at the VietNam memorial, he spoke at a spot about 3meters or so north and west of the statue, right next to the sidewalk which goes down into the memorial proper.
I had no desire to hear what he had to say, since he had just cut veterans befefits, and was holding on active duty raises that year. (I was active duty at the time, stationed in DC)
So, I went, as I often did in those days when I could not sleep to the mall in the middle of the night and sat and watched people at the wall.
That particular night there was a line of people 40-50 long ending in a muddy puddle of piss near the new statue.
This was weird.
I asked someone what that was about, they said that was where Reagan had stood earlier in the day, and the line was to piss there.
I got on line, and had one of the best pisses in my life with my fellow veterans.
Too bad his grave will be too well-protected for my urinary funeral desires.

2. Me, personally. And, the funniest thing is, grass did not grow

well in that spot for years and years.

5. Thanks and sorry you got treated that way by the Government,

it's always seemed like the troops were much more supportive of the government than the government has been to the troops.

Are there always a few people at the wall almost any time of the night ?

7. Yes, even when it is below zero with snow, I have seen people

on warm summer nights, it is the best time to go
