2. Change in diet
Edited on Fri Aug-22-03 09:42 PM by HypnoToad
Eating smaller portions more frequently throughout the day and not eating after 6PM - to ensure there's no food for the stomach to digest, I imagine I'll sleep better at night too.

Thanks for asking!

Adding in Xenadrine EFX and getting back on the elliptical trainer will help too. I am rather out of shape, but getting rid of the tummy is more important right now... :-(

3. Interesting
Is this "scientifically" validated? I'm flirting with Atkins. Upping my calorie-expenditure (well, I'm trying, anyway) and lowering my carb ingestion (ingestiture??? yah--trying that too). Is there some magic thang about not eating after 6 pm? 'Cause, dude, at this point, I'm all about *magic.*

Micky

4. I doubt it
But I'm not doin' Atkins! Ketosis is not a good thing...

But a LOT of people have said "smaller portions more often", enough for me to take proper notice... I think the no-food-after-6 bit is just for the sake of not keeping the digestive process busy during sleeping time.

I've got to eat real food though, not the honey and chocolate flavored granola bars though as my portions! :9

5. ketosis is bad,
but so is Xenadrine. Why not just do the fewer calories ingested/more calories expended approach? It always works!

Good luck! The 6 pm rule... wow, I once tried 7 but failed miserably. Hope you can stick to it!
