"Roger & Me" or "Bowling for COlumbine" - which ought I watch first?

Picked 'em both up today and then paraded them around the store in my typical arrogant yet pleading fashion.

Now I don't know which one I want to see first.

Thoughts on this, anyone? Or do I nitpick too much?

1. I'd watch Roger & Me first since it came out first

I've seen it 3 times (twice during various classes in college) and I've seen Bowling....twice. I loved them both. Michael Moore is a TRUE patriot.

2. Chronological Order

I think that would be the best, not that it matters much. I just finished watching Bowling for Columbine and found it really inspiring. My husband and I want to see his new movie in the theater when it comes out. I also want to rent Rodger & Me, have not seen that since it came out.

Michael Moore is kind of starting to remind me of the dad on family guy! (the way he looks, not his actions)

3. It really doesn't matter

They're both great films. You may, however, wish to watch "Roger and Me" first, only because it predates "Columbine" by 13 years and may suggest what's to come, if you know what I mean.

4. Saw BFC first..

...then my son rented Roger and Me. Michael Moore's films are very inspiring to me, and I thought he showed real sand to voice his opinions at the AA's. Can't wait for Farenheit 911 in November 2004; it promises to make that month VERY interesting!

9. Have a double feature, then get...

"Harlan County USA" (1976) and "American Dream". Barbara Kopple documentaries which inspired Michael Moore to look into film-making (according to his good self).
