So I always hear Randi going on about Michelob Amber Bock
....and because I've never tried it before I decided to seek it out at the supermarket today.

Well, I'm usually a fan of dark lagers but I'm a little indifferent to this one.
The way Randi goes on about it I thought it would blow my mind but it's a bit of a fizzog, to be truthfully honest.

I actually got more of a buzz out of being carded at the supermarket (I'm 37, with a beard and wrinkles) than I have from this beer.

Anyone tried this beverage who does like it?

1. It's probably just regular Michelob
with brown food coloring added.

2. It's good for what it is.
In other words, a mass-produced, Anheuser-Busch beer.

Not as bad as REGULAR Michelob, that's for goddamned sure. But not a real Bockbier, either.

3. I like it ...
when I'm in a bar where the only choices are Amber Bock, Miller Lite and Budweiser. If I have a better choice, I'll take something else, but it's a good 'go to' beer when we're in a place that thinks Bud Light is good beer.

5. It's a decent beer, for being mass-produced.
Seems better on draft though.

10. Thanks, GOPiE
My local beverage store has beers from all over so I will look when I visit there on Saturday.

I'd like to try this one.

15. Unless you're in Texas,
it won't be there :(

It's my favorite, especially on tap!

8. I prefer...
...Killian's Red or Guinness. I don't like Amber Bock much, but I'd order it if the only choice was a light beer.
