6. good question; I'm not sure
I guess the tonic and lime add a certain piquancy that I just don't get from vodka.

Plus, there's that whole neo-hipster martini thing that turns me off.

3. I hope it's Bombay or Tanqueray.
Stay away from the cheap stuff. It will ruin your stomach. So ask you anything eh? Why didn't you offer me some? It's not good to drink alone you know.

7. too late; see post above
Tanq is pretty good, though pricey. I never noticed a difference between Bombay and the cheaper stuff.

15. Quinine is mean
the only way I could ever drink gin was with grapefruit juice to counteract the cabbage like taste of the gin.

23. the interface for a Mac crash is much friendler than for the PC
either they get the frowny face (old school) or the computer just hangs in limbo indefinitely; either way, it's denial-friendly.

have fun with it though

I can sympathize with you too. I like Reverse Polish Notation calculators and few others do. I am convinced RPN is the better way to go, but it's just not as popular.
