On and earlier thread, I mentioned that I think that we ought to be able to sue and put a stop to the massive spyware/parisite stuff that is eating up our computers. Get real, this is ADVERTISING shit. Someone owns those sites that grab our computers and our joy.
Think about this analogy. You are having a phone conversation. Suddenly, in the middle of your conversation, a super stealth "phoneware" hijacks your conversation. Then, while the "phoneware" gives its spiel, you and the person you are conversing with are helpless to do anything until the spiel is over, then you can resume your conversation. But Wait, there are many "phonewares" out there, and once one has managed to grab onto your phone number, you are now fair game for all of them. Pretty soon, you cannot have any phone conversations, because of all the "phoneware". So now you have two choices, get a lot of "antiphoneware" or change your phone number and pray that the "phoneware" doesn't find you. Tell me, How long would most Americans put up with that? Why are we putting up with it on our computers??????
What, if any, is the difference?
So, YEAH, I am very serious. How do we go about starting a class action lawsuit?
