Women may or may not accept compliments on their looks, but they never refuse a compliment on their shrewdness. At least, I've never seen it happen. Women who'll give you a suspicious eye if you compliment their hair or their clothing don't question praise for their discerning intelligence.

And you should NEVER tell a hot babe she is attractive - she knows that already and will give you a :eyes:

In fact, a small dig at their look or clothes can work wonders if you then follow it up with a comment like the one you suggested - it will make you seem unique, fresh, and not one of the usual guys! You will appear strong with your own opinions and that you cannot be pushed around - translation: not a wussy boy and good mating potential :evilgrin:

a little rudeness goes a lo-o-o-o-o-ong way. what's with that? i'm usually such a softspoken, unassertive, sensitive little horseshit. in other words: perfectly unremarkable. then i have a few drinks when nobody's looking, say something offensive, and romance ensues.

2. Sheeeesh! A Woman Isn't A *Fish*!

Part of why guys fail is the idea that you have to "bait a hook" to "get a girl". Women can see that a mile away! Be natural, be friendly and low key and above all BE YOURSELF!

A gentle friendly guy is *catnip* to the ladies! Especially the pretty ones who have heard *every* line there is! Twice.

Be yourself, be open and listening, talk naturally and show her *why* you are somebody worth knowing. If there's something she's wearing or how she's looking that is compliment-worthy, tell her so, without trying to "impress" her.

It's how I found my sweet Missus and how I keep her happy!
