2. Happy Birthday, Wolf!
We named our late, great cat Chester after him. In keeping with his name, he would wander around our old apartment at night and howl -- aaawwwwoooooooh! :D

6. Got to listen to Howling Wolf now!
Oh, I love the blues....

It could be a spoonful of diamonds

7. Wolf's longtime guitarist, Hubert Sumlin is headlining tonite.....
At the Chicago BluesFest.

And guess who's gonna be singing Wolf's songs with Hubert?

Would you believe it's gonna be David Johansson. It's true.

9. Killing Floor is one of the most copied blues riffs ever
I hear variations on the guitar riff all of the time. It is a real classic.

10. Wow...Howlin' Wolf and ZombyWoof share a birthday!
Interesting.

Killing Floor is the quintessential Howlin' Wolf song to me. Happy Birthday in the great beyond Wolf!
