So I was making the 1/4 mile walk back to my office from the place we are allowed to smoke (I'm all for keeping smoking out of the building and away from main entrances -- but off the PROPERTY?)

Anyway, I'm minding my own business, walking that 1/4 mile. In the rain. And some FUCKING FUCKING FUCKING ASSHOLE comes speeding out of the parking lot and SPLASHES all over me.

No idea who the piece of shit fucker was, either -- I was too blinded by rage to get a license #.

Jesus Christ, why do people have to be such ASSHOLES? Is this the "return to decency" promised by *? Is this one of Poppy's "points of light?"

Some days, the only good thing I can say is that I am vindicated in my misanthropy. :grr:

In other words, for a corporation that has nothing but contempt for its employees. There's no legal restriction at play here (in fact, up to this Monday, there had been an indoor smoking lounge -- I had no problem with them closing that, but they could have squirreled us away out back somewhere).
