I had the worst dream last night - About really really mean cats

I woke up and I searched for bite marks (there were none) and made sure the TV still worked (it did).

My dream just was waaaaaaay out there. I dreamt that I had adopted another cat (which oddly enough is something I have no intentions of doing). It was this beautiful gray/white tabby with very unique patterns in his fur. When I went to adopt him, he was so friendly and cuddly - jumped right up on my lap and just purred up a storm.

Well when I got the new cat home his cute & cuddliness turned into the cat from hell. He would terrorize my poor Abbott & Evita and he would claw, bite & scratch me every chance he got. He even knocked this family portrait I had hanging above my TV which was in a very heavy frame (oddly enough there are no pictures above my TV in real life) and the picture smashed the TV screen spewing shattered glass everywhere.

I ended up having to call out of work, but for some bizarre reason I drove into work to tell them I was calling out. But when I got home - all hell broke lose. There were 5 more cats living in my home and terrorizing me and my first 2 cats. They were destroying everything in the house. And as gallently as I tried to clean up the house, those cats were letting even more cats into my home and my neighbors were dropping off all of their pets (my neighbors looked nothing like my real neighbors).

I tried everything to get rid of these rogue cats like throwing them out the front door or tossing them out my window, but somehow they managed to get back inside. Finally I got ahold of some Animal Control group that said they would take all the cats and that these cats just needed some shot to help contain all their aggression. But the only problem was they would take animals out and more would come back in. Plus at one point they took Abbott with them and I didn't want them to take my original 2 cats. Somehow I managed to find him at the Control Center; although, there were so many that look just like Abbott but were much much more mean & nasty.

All I know is - what the hell did I eat that night to give me such a horrible dream

1. Sounds like your dream time was taken over

by a junta of replicats. This was brought on by an overdose of Raygun mania that is permiating the airwaves-even if you don't watch or listen the radio frequencies are passing through you right know. There is no escape except to line your bed room in foil and replace your sheets with those foil emergency blankets. iieeeeee!

BTW- I'm sure that Abbot and Evita are good Democats- but you never know what a cat is really thinking.

This was a dream and it wasn't my cats being mean & nasty. They were being tortured by the mean cat that I had adopted (in the dream, in real life 2 is enough)

But if you don't want to read about my cats then just ignore me, it'll make life so much easier for all of us!

10. Wow.....what the fuck is your problem?

As I recall, Lynnesin graciously took a cat in from the cold this winter and was asking all sorts of advice on caring for him and then even adopted another cat who she brags about all the time because it saved her from a bat in the house.

Hardly the actions of a cat hater.

I think you owe Lynnesin an apology (no, actually, I KNOW you owe her an apology for jumping to conclusions and insulting her kind spirit).

I mean, if I hadn't said anything about it being a dream, it would have sounded I was very mean spirited towards cats.

It was just a really f'ed up dream. When I was dreaming, those bits & scratches from the mean cats seemed so real that I thought maybe my own cats were doing that while I was sleeping (but I had nary a scratch)

8. Looked at a picture of Chester yesterday.

That picture was taken when he was 22lbs. (ya ya ya he was big boned too) He was laying flat on his back in the grass crashed out. He's buried under a couple of Redbud trees we planted by the pond out back. A friend of mine that owns a lime stone company made him a head stone with his name on it.

In it she adopted a beagle named scooter from the SPCA. In her dream, her real life cat attacked Scooter repeatedly, forcing her to give up the Beagle.

A few weeks ago, I had an awful dream about being attacked by a black panther that looked just like a bigger version of my baby Rocky, who loves everybody and only attacks rugs and catnip toys. So at the very least, you're not alone!
