Question about the state funerals |
|
For the sake of this discussion let's assume the following circumstances.
Assume you are now back in time to the year 1977. Assume Nixon made arrangements in 1970 for a state funeral basically the same as the one that has just taken place this past week in 2004. Nixon has been tried convicted and executed for war crimes after being convicted of treason in the United States..
Would any of his convictions cause his state funeral arrangements to be denied on any legal grounds ?
In other words once anyone is able to reside at 1600 penn. Ave is there anything that they can do that would deny them the perk of a state funeral.
