I'd love to see Bad Religion, but the Dems can't take a chance with some of BR's "Cross Busters" logos which would turn the fundies into a forthing mob of jackyls.
I'd love to see Outkast as well, but Chuck D and a return of Public Enemy would be a good rap representation. Chuck D is arguably one of the most brilliant lyricists I have ever seen and the fact he is "under radar" right now is a major loss to the music establishment.
Other than PE, Outkast, Arrested Development...from that genre I'd love to see REM, Bad Religion from the modern rock and punk genre, respectively.
And bring in Steve Earle for a country (rebel) representation and have him play Johnny Cash music.
That's the great thing about music...many of these people come from the ouskirts of society and are stricly anti-establishment which makes them perfect candidates for progressive causes.
People like Ted Nugent are an anomaly and a really bad one at that.
