Almost a FOOT of rain in the last 2 days!

After fucking with my GF's sump pump for 1/2 an hour, I slogged over to where she was standing on the stairs and said

4. gawd thats a great movie....

there will never be another submarine movie made that comes close to the realism of "das boot"...this coming from an ex-submariner.

"k-19...the widowmaker" is a good watch too.

"below" is another good one. although the storyline is about a haunting onboard a WW2 submarine, the submarine and the actions of the crew are technically acurate, moreso than "the hunt for red october" or "u-571" .

I have the dubbed version, the "director's Cut", and I'm wondering if this new release is the fabled long lost 6-hour "mini-series" version...That is a hell of a movie, no doubt!
