Thinking of you tonight, DeForest Kelley
Five years already, it seems only yesterday you were holding Spocks marbles.

1. Put him on the ten dollar bill!
That would be cool!

But with the economy the way it is, I'm probably not going to see any of those for a while yet.

7. Not quite all, but a hell of a lot
of 'em.

RIP Bones. I was just watching the Star Trek VI special DVD tribute to De a week ago (since I just bought it). Very good tribute, and I remember feeling quite sad at his parting. Still am sad.

He deserved a funeral like Reagan's. At least De was a good actor, did good things with his life and career, and inspired a lot of people to go into medicine and heal people. And he wasn't a criminal who destroyed the US, either. :-)

Watching the tribute made me realize that the rest of the Trek cast are also getting old and will likely begin to die, and that made me sad as well. Star Trek was always (and still is) such a part of my life, that when the original crew dies off, part of me will die with them.

9. No, No, No, Where the Doc says " I'm NOT a doctor I'm a .....
Usually he said "I'm a doctor not a (fill in the blank)"

but in this instance he said

" I'm not a doctor I'm a ......."

sorry about leaving the last part blank but it would be too easy to guess then.

10. Oops - totally missed your usage of "not"
As you say, we're used to "I'm a doctor, not" so I just clumped the words when I read it, and put the not at the end without realizing it.

I don't know which episode he said he isn't a doctor.

Damn.

13. Ok here's the entire quote "I'm not a doctor, I'm a condemned murderer"
It was an episode in the 1960's

It has been shown at Star Trek conventions in composite clips.

Bonus hint since this is a bit of a trick question.

Jonathan Hoyt who played Dr. Piper in "The Cage"

was the person that condemned Doc in this show.

11. Doohan might be next to go...
This summer's convention in Los Angeles will be his last, due to ailing health.

I missed out on last summer's trek convention where all surviving cast members attended.

Thanks for posting that, GS. I put that pic on my desktop, and laugh everytime I see it.
