It's been a long wait!
And if I am not mistaken it's the Deadwood season finale as well.

1. I am anxiously awaiting the July 6 debut of the second season.
I don't get HBO but would order it if I could catch up on the other seasons but they are so slow about releasing them and I don't want to be two seasons behind when I start watching. I watched the first season on DVD and got completely hooked. I guess I will wait a year or so between the release of a season's worth of DVDs and just watch them that way. Love that show!

3. Oh yeah......
Six Feet Under tonight.... man it's been a long time coming....

as I recall the last season ended a full year ago...

I'm glad we're back to Sunday night brand new Six Feet Under episodes...

I think I may have accidentally seen a spoiler that said (very vaguely) what happened to Lisa.... although I don't know how reliable it is, plus I tried not to read it but caught some of it....

Man I can't wait. That show is just so remarkable in every aspect. Character development, story lines, cinematography(wow!), development of the relationships between characters.....

I have watched the show since day one, and I am glad I did.... I don't know how it would be to jump into 6FU in the middle, not seeing how the characters developed from the very beggining... but seems to me that's the best way to truly experience six feet under for what it is... to watch each episode.. in order.. starting with season one, episode one.... how all the characters got to where they are has alot to do with the general feel of what they're going through now...

Although I bet if I had never seen the show before, and just watched any old episode, I would still like it.....but Six Feet Under is more than just a television show... it's an experience.

Heyo

I've been anxiously awaiting tonight and have a friend coming over to (you're right) share the experience. The writing is INCREDIBLE. I also by accident learned how Lisa died. It kind of irritated me that it happened on one of the Sunday talk shows and they also divulged some other stuff....but oh well.....

8. Hmmm....
I didn't hear the Sunday talk show thing....

I accidentally read somewhere what her cause of death was, but none of the circumstaces surrounding the whole thing...

I hope they go into detail about it tonight...

Heyo

You don't know? Someone up the thread tattled. Her dates were in white, then fade out to end of season 3. Last night, they replayed the finale.

Claire was having guilt pains over her abortion (she got knocked up by that mousy art student who got it up the ass from the teacher). She went to the cemetery to see her Dad, and he couldn't go into the Mausoleum with her (He's not allowed to smoke in there). Claire met Lisa and her aborted baby. Lisa promised to take care of him, if Claire takes care of Maya. She also met her old boyfriend, the thug who knocked up a convenience store. He apparently died violently (they didn't say). He was there with his little brother (who earlier killed himself playing with a gun he found), playing frisbee in Heaven's park.

Ruth and George (James Cromwell) got married. Daddy was found by Ruth to be crying in the office. Nate blew up at Ruth for guilting him into staying in Los Angeles instead of going back to Seattle, where he had a life.

Brenda moved into a new apt. where she found a new guy playing a french horn. His name is Joe, and he promised not to fuck her, and they went out to a Korean Grill for dinner. He feeds cats, and kissed Brenda goodnight.

David and Keith broke up, then they went to Church together, and sort of reconciled. Giving it another chance. David admitted to fucking one of his Choir mates. It took Keith all he had not to explode. Keith thinks that twerp intern (Arthur?) is a ghoul (So do I). The twerp intern looked at Ruth and George, and got upset, because he's got some thing for Ruth.

Rico is sick of his sister in law. Vanessa refuses to kick the bitch out, and she is coming between him and Vanessa. He storms out, and goes to dance class. The instructor invites him to a tittie bar, where he meets a stripper that REALLY liked him, and she blows him in his car.

Both Lisa and Daddy tried to get Nate to drive off a cliff, after he went crazy and got drunk and let some big guy beat the crap out of him in a bar. Nate ended up at Brenda's new apt. Lisa's name and dates fade into white...End of season 3.

EDIT: To add more stuff.

7. Thanks I needed that.
I really needed the update.

What with my freakin' country falling apart over the last year, I had forgotten some of the details of the last episode in the prior season.

The refresher course was great! Thanks.

9. We found out at the end of last season that Lisa died-In the last
episode, Nate got the call that they had found the body and the show ended with her dates. What I didn't know what how she died and that's one of the things I heard on the Sunday show. Well, it's on in 4 minutes (fortunately, I get the east code feed). Bye for now!
