Classical Music Question

you know when you see a sunrise in a cartoon, often there are birds chirping and then soft classical piece plays?

similar to what is in the Pella Window commercial where the guy slams the window shut to drowned OUT that chirping & music?

its very soft classical.

my wife is looking for it to incorporate into a slide presentation for work.

any ideas where i might find at least a piece of it in an mp3 or wav. file?

i'm stumped

14. Believe it or not, it's the intro to William Tell Overture.

17. You're on the right track, sort of.

In the past, cartoons and commercials seemed to default to the 6/8 section of Rossini's William Tell Overture to depict "morning" sequences (it features extended solo work for the English horn and the flute). However, it's not an "intro" to the overture. Rather, it's the third section of an overture that breaks into 4 large segments. This idyllic section follows the "storm" section and leads directly into the "Lone Ranger" part of the overture.

But nowadays, the "Morning" section of Grieg's Peer Gynt has become the default piece of classical "sunrise" music for the commercial world. When people hear it, they instantly imagine the towering fjords of Grieg's native Norway. They're then shocked to learn that the music, in fact, depicts Peer Gynt awakening in Arabia!
