A 60-year-old homeless man who used a wheelchair was found dead behind a convenience store in the 3200 block of Tiger Lane, and police think the death was accidental.
Jimmy Easley, who was homeless, had a wound on the back of his head, according to police reports.
"It appears he went behind the USA Food Mart to use the bathroom," said Capt. John Moseley, Corpus Christi police investigation’s supervisor.
Investigators suspect Easley stood up, then fell and hit his head, Moseley said. "We’re not treating it as a homicide at this time. It look’s accidental and we’re awaiting medical examiner reports."
Snip
So sad. 60, homeless, pissing behind a building. Why can't we help people have a better life? Based on his age, I wonder if he may have been a Vietnam veteran.
